Organizers of Earth Hour are asking that everyone turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour at 8:30PM (local time, wherever you live on planet earth) Saturday, March 28 to raise awareness on climate change.

I'm sure Al Gore will be be observing Earth Hour. I'll be doing the same by turning off the lights, but not TV or computer; those are definitely not non-essential appliances.
Yeah, sorry ... I'm not turning off the last 10 minutes of the Pitt game. Not gonna happen!
