It's rained every day for the past week with rain predicted the next 3 or 4 days. Doesn't mother nature know that the showers are supposed to come only in April?
But the rain held off this afternoon long enough for me to grab these photos of the fountain in the nearby park.
I spotted this poor little baby bird in the carport of the nearby Marriott. It looked a bit too young to be out of the nest. Probability of it being found by its mother is pretty slim.
Is there anything better than a perfectly ripe avocado or guacamole? No, there isn't! This one was incredibly tasty!
And today was some sort of faux holiday, so I had some real beverages to help faux celebrate.
I love the diversity in that fountain, you can walk the steps and take a shower :)
Here's hoping your Cinco de Mayo guacamole and tequila were up to snuff!

No music, Babs. I haven't seen the county's summer entertainment schedule, but there's a very slight chance there will be music there once a week at lunchtime and/or a couple times a month in the evening as in the past. However, the past couple summers the county has, unfortunately, scheduled those kinds of activities at other venues.

Leslie, the avocado was perfectly ripe and the slices were delicious. I also made guacamole just the way I like it from its twin, and it was also great. And Sauza Hornitos is my favorite tequila, so I definitely enjoyed that.
